Allow me to share the pieces of who I am that can not be measured with traditional academic/professional metrics. My story is one of transitioning, and these experiences were key in learning confidence and flexibility.
I often credit this trip with being the beginning of the rest of my life. You can see that I am still very young here (the awkward emojis) and quite different ideologically (religious and really redneck with a pocket knife).
